When Li was approved at interview (white slip), she was asked to submit EMS Waybill. On this form, she elected to pick up passport from post office near Embassy. After no word for 7 days, she tried to reach Embassy, but they would not accept her call. After 3 website attempts, they sent word to me, to tell her to go back home to Chengdu (1,500 miles). They could have told her this 2 weeks prior and saved us over $1,000 and much stress. Now they have completed Administrative Processing after 100 days (which they had never informed her was going to happen after successful interview)... Instead of sending her the notification to her house, like they sent her blue slip, they sent her packet to Guangzhou Chun post office. This is not even the post office where she elected to pick up her approved visa the first time. She asked the post office if they would deliver to Chengdu. They told her no. She was afraid that if she did not pick up, then the PRC staff would use this as evidence against her, so she purchased $400 ticket to Guangzhou. More fun and games. Guess we have more bitter fruit to eat. Hope POE goes more smoothly than the zoo at GUZ.
