Hello VJ members,I went to the Interview last year December 6 and i went through every interview and at the end of the Interview, the CO gave me slip starting that,I need to ask my fiancee to send to me 2009 and 2010 tax transcript when i already had from my fiancee and the CO also ticked "Awaiting Result of Administration Processing". She Returned to me the call logs,Pictures and my passport but she kept my Original Birth Cert,Medicals and Police Report. She then told me that,I should go back and wait till they call me and she indicated on the form that was given to me that, "Open Date-Will Call" and she also wrote on the form given to me that,They will call me at any of these days, "Tuesday,Wednesday or Thursday". Now my question is that, how long does this take because its almost 7 months since i went to the interview. Please i need advice from other Ghanaian who also went through the same AP method and i want them to tell me what they might be doing with my case that is keeping them so long up to this 7 months and i am still haven't been called.Thank very much and i am waiting for reply from you guys.Thank u very much.

I really dont know what is coursing the delay.they told me they are Okay with my relationship but its a process they have to go through and for four months now i have heard nothing from them.I feel like they just dont want to put families together so they will do all they can to distract your relationship.its soo weird.

What is the reason for the delay? If the relationship is valid why the need for an extension?

AP is usually for further background checks. Usually the relationship is approved, but could be criminal, religion, etc.

There are no limits on K-1s that i know of so i wouldnt call it an extension- it administrative processing- so really could be anything.

Such as new birth certificate (not hand written)- thats why its better to have everything new and ready to go.

I am sorry you have been waiting so long, but when your case is in AP there truly is nothing you can do but wait. Some cases can be as little as a few weeks while others can be a year or more. Just try and be patience and remember this is something beyond your control. Can always pray if your a believing person. Hope it works out soon for you!!!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
