Hello guys,

I am devastated, and would really appreciate any help. I applied for my parents immigration in March 2011. It was moving a long slowly, and finally I submitted all the final documents to INS two weeks ago.

They need more documents, which is not an issue since I can get all of them, except one. My parents have been living in Rawalpindi since 1990, and I submitted the Police Character Certificate from only Rawalpindi. However, they came back and asked me for Police Character Certificate from every city that they lived in ever since they were 16 years old (the cities that were mentioned in the answer of question 30, in DS-230 form). The problem is, my father was in Army and lived through half of Pakistan... He is 66 years old right now, and I can not ask him to travel through Pakistan and collect Police Character Certificates from each station (those who are from Pakistan, would know its not really possible).

I was happy to see a company that was offering this service, but not only the cost was outrageous, but also they do not cover half of the cities he lived because of current conditions.

Anyone faced this before? Any idea what can be done? I am contacting Pakistani Consulate as well, but not very hopeful.

Thanks.
