You can show, most of the time they will not let you in to interview not sure on UK. UK members should respond with good information for you.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I was present for my fiancee's K1 interview in London. You need to apply for permission.

Thank you all

GDHB how did you apply for permission?

Call the embassy and they will give you an email code. You then email the code to the address they give you stating you're going to attend the interview. They will send you a confirmation email. Make sure you take this to the interview with you. They said they put my fiance on the list but they didnt and we had to print out the email in Goulds where we dropped our electrical stuff off. It cost £6 to print 1 page.....

I am the USC and went with David for his interview. We did not make arrangements in advance. All I needed was my Passport to show I am a USC. It is our embassy. We are welcome anytime. :)

I just showed my US passport too but I've noticed lately they seem to be more strict and want it requested in advance. There was someone recently who reported they had email permission but because the name wasn't on the appointment letter, nor on the line checker's list at the embassy the USC was not allowed in.
