Thanks Kip. I don't need a sign like that. My wife is working in the office (and that could be the subject of a very long and interesting topic, think typical Russian customer service) and she has gotten the word out to all the Russian speaking people in the area. I have them coming from many miles away looking for that "special" friends and family deal! Of course none of them are family....but the wife says CASH talks. Thanks to the ####### work they got back in the old country I am very busy.

My daughter just graduated from dental school in May, got her FL dental license, but is now in Tennessee because of the "boy friend" that also just graduated from dental school but owes the army 4 years in return for footing most of his bill through dental school. He's at Ft. Campbell for at least the next 2 years. She is working at a public health clinic between Nashville and Clarksville. We will see how long this relationship lasts.

When we fill out the info for getting on new insurance plans and they ask what languages we speak in the office we are always including Russian now. Unfortunately none of us know Spanish but I did find a great app for my phone called the Dental Spanish guide with all the appropriate translations for the most common dental questions. No such app for Russian as far as I know.

Officers do pretty well. Guaranteed job (with raises!) for life, free housing, food, medical/dental, etc. And it's not like a dentist will get deployed too often.

I see the same thing up here as far as Russians going to Russian owned and/or Russian friendly businesses. It's got to make for a steady clientele I would think.

The clinic my wife works at has one or two of those Civil Service dentist working there and they make over $50 an hour. Nothing like private practice but they get great benefits and they aren't required to wear that uniform at work. If this guy is good to here and visa versa it might be a pretty good thing for the both of them. A chance to do some travelling while getting paid for it.
