No, you can get them for FREE, you need to order IRS tax transcripts. You can do that online at https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof-tra/start.do or by phone. In most cases you can get 4 prior years or more depend. usually USCIS need the last 3 years.....This service is FREE, when you order you need to order account transcript (1-2 papers that contain most of what USCIS need), if you chose to order RETURN transcript, its more detailed, up to you.........

no_where_man : thanks for the reassurance. I assume I'm filing based on my tenure (9yr holder of green card) and not marriage based per se, so I did not send in the marriage certs etc etc.

Yes, I did file the G-1145.

Wrt tax returns, is it imperative that it be IRS certified tax returns (through form 4506)? If yes, then I should be prepared to pay $57 x 5 years tax returns)?

I want a suggestion i am doing next day delivery( Express Delivery ) on Monday do i send it to the lock box or to this address USCIS 1820 e skyharbor circle STE 100 pheonix az 85034 or put the lock box address any suggestion....:)

Joining the party!

N400 packet fedex'd to Lewisville, TX on 07/14, received Monday 7/16 morning. No notice of receipt yet or anything.

Reading some of the earlier posts, I realize I've just sent the basic minimum - cashier's check, photos, copies of GC. I didn't send in certified tax returns, plane tickets, marriage certs etc etc. You guys are getting me worried lol.

A little bit about me, I live in the DC metro area (Falls Church, VA). Married to a citizen for 11 years. Been a GC holder for 9 years. We have 1 child. I got my GC through consulate abroad (that was a breeze, process took less than 2 weeks).

Anyways, here to a smooth ride for all of us :thumbs:

Don't worry....I did the same. Been married to my USC for 6 years...had a GC 5 years....I'm also basing mine on 5 years' residency.....less stuff to send. :)

Old and Grumpy....But an American Citizen!!!
