What does that mean when someone tells me that my case has been adjudicated as approved? Does that mean all the necessary steps are done and the case is finally approved?

As many of you may remember that I have been waiting since my interview on Oct 17th. I was given an N652 with the note that my case had been recommended for approval. The officer told me to wait for about 2 weeks to receive the oath letter. Today, talking to a level 2 officer, he told me that he sees my case adjucated as approved as of Oct 17th. He also created a service request for the case and told me to expect a response to the request by Dec 15th. I am just hoping that all turns out well...

Btw, I completely forgot to note down officer's name/ID. Neither did I remember to ask him about service request's reference number. Do you guys think this would be a problem to refer back to this request in future?

Adjudicated as approved means that a decision has been made and your case approved. And yes, an approval came after the officer was satisfied and all necessary steps taken. You should be hearing something soon. If not, you will definitely hear a reply regarding your service request within 30 days. Usually that mail simply states that you placed a service request and the reference number will be provided in that letter, even if you don't remember it. Honestly, USCIS insists to not call or place requests for already requested information, but I have nagged them for the same thing over and over again and within a span of days, not even weeks. It doesn't go against you in any way. Good Luck and I pray you hear something soon.

I am Finally done with this immigration and now a US Citizen, I had a oath today at 11.00am there were 45 people there , after the oath there were things to do

Updated my Social Security Office ( Done )

Update my Driver License ( Done )

Applied for my passport getting in few weeks ( Done )

Now i can change my color to red ......:) for all of you guys I pray for you that every one reach's this journey soon (i know how stressfull it is ) .... best of luck to every one and God bless...:):yes::thumbs::dance:

i was just finishing my thing after the oath , and finally i am done with every thing and as for July it will soon pick up because all the June are getting update , so soon it will be your turn soon , best of luck and God bless :):thumbs:

and its funny that my on line status say still in schedule interview....hmmm

Hi i received my interview letter in mail on 29th of November my interview is on 2nd of January 2013.can someone please update my info thank you .

Which part of New york havr you applied from robhinio? Also, did you receive any email/text regarding the interview date? I am within the NYC area and wondering when I'll receive any update.

I opened this July Filers and my journey has ended here and I am much relaxed now nothing to worry about………..

Thank you very much Pathan, I will be watching over you , soon it will be your turn , and you will get it in flying colors …..:)

( in my oath I saw many people , some were 15 yrs, 20yrs and 30yrs they stayed in USA and now they became citizen that really shocking for me a lot )
