When did you do your FP? And when were you placed in line?

Looking at the Trackitt.com site, some are processed "out of order" but most seem to go in order of when their fingerprints were done, more so than priority date. Many people theorize that doing fingerprints early doesn't speed things up at all, but I'm not so sure it doesn't. I did mine 2 weeks early on 7/26 and been in line since 7/30. Just curious

well I did my FP on August 7th. I was placed in line for on September 13th. I expected to be in line in two weeks after my FP. That did not happen. I have interview very early in the morning. I hope I can take the Oath same day. Don't want to go there twice.

Well, consider yourself lucky then. I did FP on 7/26, in line 7/30. MamaSue applied just a few days after me (I'm in the June tracker but filed at the end of the month). There are others in June and July with no movement yet - and some in May even.

My husband had his interview on the 11th (last Wednesday) in Pittsburgh, and they gave him a letter saying a decision could not be made at this time. He said that the IO told him that he needed to check over the paperwork. No change in the status online yet! Hopefully we won't end up in that dreaded black hole of "pending" for months/years. I'm thinking positively!

Positive attitude is always good! From some old posts, I see people having similar experience usually get the decision and oath letter in 1-2 weeks. Good luck!

Does "in line" mean that your background/name check has been cleared? It seems Atlanta DO is very slow . Anyway you are near the end of tunnel!

Today I received letter with interview date scheduled!! They changed case status online, however I didn't get e-mail with update.. Going to update the table.

Someone had deleted my updates.

I will not say that I am lucky. My friend who already citizen told me that I can get citizenship within one and half month after applying. I I trusted him and filed for the N-400. It's has been three months now since I applied for. I was expecting it very fast.

hello guys..i did my interview last sept. 27, 2012 at san jose, california. the IO said i passed, he checked the box that says congratulations..he said ill just wait for the oath letter.its been 20 days and havent recieved any mails yet..my uncle did his interview oct. 3 2012 and he passed they also give him the oath letter after his interview..he will be going to the oath taking this oct. 18,2012...

I was given a sheet with state/local reps for regional specific answers... some of those may change too!

Thanks! My husband has a criminal record, a minor charge of harassment (it's not even a misdemeanor). No jail time, no probation, just a $150 fine. Keeping my fingers crossed that this didn't affect anything!
