Hi everyone,

Had my interview today and passed. Had a great IO who was friendly and put me at ease. All went by in a blur and I can't even remember what questions she asked! I just remember she stopped after 5 correct answers. Oath date to come in the mail, but I think it might be November 16.

Interview was in Norfolk VA, so a 10 hour round trip, but it was worth it!

Best wishes to all those still waiting, and congrats to those who have also passed.

How does the interview looks like? they ask you a question and you have to come up with the answer or they give you answers and you have to pick the correct one? How long does it take?

They ask you questions from a worksheet that has randomly choosen the questions for the IO. If you answer the first 6 correctly, they inteviewer stops there, otherwise will keep on asking until the 10th question and if by then you have not answered atleast 6 correct answers, he'll fail you on the history part.

Also, its not an MCQ format test. You will not be choosing the answers from a list. The IO will ask a question and you will answer that question from memory.

I have not heard from any member who has said it has taken him more than 30 minutes once the interview starts. The wait in the office till you are called depends on how busy your local office is and how many applicats are waiting ahead of you. In short, you should be done in less than 30 minutes once you are called in for an interview.
