In a few hours I will be a US Citizen. Just passed my interview today and waiting for the oath taking.

To all of you...thank you!

Congratulations are in order...! Now let's go vote!

One quick question either to you or to anyone else who has already gone thru the interview process. What is the appropriate dress code (For Guys)? Just wondering. Mine is coming up on the 22nd of this month.

Your post made me check my wife's status. I saw this:

Oath Ceremony

On October 3, 2012, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I'll have to check the post today and tomorrow.

Yep we got the oath letter. Oath ceremony is October 11 at 8:30 AM. Can someone update the list?

Interview today, passed successfully . Could not take the oath today due to some malfunction at the Dallas office, they could not print certificates, was not expecting to do the oath today anyway so they will send me a notice to come back in 2 weeks or so. ok with that as I wanted my wife to be there for that part. Interview was easy, I was only asked 6 questions which I nailed. I can now call myself an American and that's pretty freakin cool!!!

Hi Grashoppr have you received your intreview appointment yet? I am asking because I am in same Local office area Atlanta, GA

Nope, not yet. Yellow letter on Monday, that's it so far. USCIS updated their stats today, national average is running at 5.1 months, and Atlanta is running at 5.2 months as of August 31st :( It *was* 5 months before the last update. I'm just a little bit before MamaSue - I filed June 29th. My priority date is July 3rd. In line since July 30th and holding. Hopefully MamaSue and I will have news soon...

Congrats, Girlish, and others nearing the end of their journeys!

I just received text message: On October 4, 2012. My status changed and my interview was scheduled for interview. But I have not received the letter yet. I will post it here when I get the appointment letter in the mail. :dance:

I filed in July. I do not know how to update my info and Nobody updated my info. That is why you do not see me in the list. :hehe:
