Just get text msg.

On October 3, 2012, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

When did you submit your N400? If in July, you may add it to the list.

Sometimes it take even more weeks. There is no specific time. Sometimes it's very quick , in some other case long time. I have the same like yours.

I just had a look at the USCIS site. Living here, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Baltimore is slow. It is taking almost 5.5 months from start to finish through this office. That would make it late December or January. Thought it would be nice to finally vote in a general election this year after living in the States for twelve years. Next time around, eh?

USCIS has updated its processing timeline today(10/14). NY has inched up to March 12th on N-400 applications. There is some progress at least.

Your post made me check my wife's status. I saw this:
