almost three weeks now since I was placed inline for interview. This office is slow.

I'm in Atlanta too... in line since July 30th. I filed at the end of June. :(

That is good. I think they ask like 5/6 question all together from that 100 question. Usually the interview is not long. They just check all the documents and ask those question from that book. There is nothing to worry about the interview. :dance:

They give you a chance to get 6 out of 10 right. If you answer the first 6 right, they end it there. My wife answered the first 6 and they moved on to the reading/writing thing.

Do you know if there any problem, if somebody goes there with expired passport. My passport expired. :unsure:

Your passport from Iceland? They don't care about that. The only reason my wife even brought her Thai passport was to show how many trips she took out of the country. I don't think they even looked at it.

Hello all,

Big up to our new citizens and good luck to others waiting for this journey to end. Speaking of this, I just got my Interview Letter for October 30,2012 at 9:20 AM. :thumbs: ..I can't wait for this to be behind me and go on and focus on other things. Could someone please update my case? Thanks all for being helpful.

My Status has just been updated indicating that on September 27th, my case has been scheduled for an interview and that a letter has been mailed. No change on my wife's case status yet.

Got the same message, hary_fary. Looks like Detriot is finanlly moving. But I check June filers, the lastet one got interview date at Detriot office on Nov 1, so I have a feeling our interview will be in Nov for sure, another whole month of waiting :(
