A.....How many times have you BEEN married ? .....Do I put 1- one (which is my current marriage to husband ??? since I have never been married before?)

Part 9

Section G

How many times have your current spouse been married (including annulled marriages)?

NOW , my husband have been married before to a US citizen. BUT THE QUESTION IS ....DO I put 2 (past and now marriage to me ) or Do I put 1(divorced) .........

PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!

Part 8: you should put 1 - one (current marriage).

Part 9: you should put 2: your husband's previous marriage (once) and current marriage (with you).

You know, I'll hit the 3 years on Oct 15th as well :) As per my understanding, by law we can not take the Oath before the 3 year mark, so even if we have our interviews before that, USCIS will wait and give us a date after October, 15th. If I am wrong, somebody correct me. But I read similar responses from some senior members of VJ.

i agree with you but you must know that its election year they want as many people to vote in this election , so may be we will be lucky let see...... :)

That's what people say - to make as many eligible voters, etc., however here in ATL the process has pretty much ground to a halt since June :-/ I filed at the end of June, I'm in the queue for IL, but people have been stuck in that stage here since May.

I am really not that sure that the election year is going to have much impact, although it would be nice to vote. But for the July filers, it means that they must have an oath ceremony in October, probably early October. I'm not saying it is not possible; it just seems a bit too ambitious. But yeah, it would be fantastic end the journey so fast.

Just had early Bio, it took me 1 hour to get permition to have my fingerprints taken. So, if you are going for early Bio in Elizabeth, NJ make sure you have a reason to have it earlier.

Just to update, had an early Bio today in Alexandria, VA. Good decision as the place was empty at lunchtime.

Date: 07/17/2012 Application Sent.

Date: 07/25/2012 NOA

Date: 08/23/2012 Biometrics Appointment. (Early Bio: 08/07/2012).

Date: 09/17/2012 Text/Email notification for interview received.

Date: 09/20/2012 Interview letter Received.

Date: 10/24/2012 Interview.

Date: 01/08/2013 Naturalization Ceremony. I am a US citizen!

I agree with you 100% but you must understand that it depends where your local office , i lived in Chicago and it is a busy office , but where as i am in Boise its not busy at all, like if you see that in new york it will be busy because its on the east coast ,well on the west coast its not that busy i rarely see a rush in our local office, just be positive and let see ,why i am saying that when i went for my early bio the person said ..See you in 3-4 weeks, he was smiling lets see...:)

Exactly the question I wanted to ask. :D this would be a proof that EB's actually expedite cases. Would be comforting to know if somebody comes forward with an update....

I filed right at the end of June. (I'm tracking in the June thread). I went for early biometrics on 7/26 (appointment was scheduled for 8/8) and my status changed on 7/30 to "in line for testing/interview". Nothing since then, but it's only been 14 days as of now. I don't know if it speeds things up at all - for me it was a matter of convenience, I was in the vicinity of the support center on the 26th so I took a chance that they'd take me early, and they did. Saved me missing a half-day of work yesterday.

I'm in ATL and things seem to be moving rather slowly there.

i agree with you , one of the member said that you can call and check weather (The early bio)has gone to the FBI or not on 304-625-5590 option 4 , i am going to wait till Friday or Monday i hope they didn't loose it .....because mine is still saying send you the bio letter, status didn't change hmmmm :(
