My fiancé has a loan with banco popular in Dom Rep, my questions... Would he have to pay the full amount on the loan before his visa is approved???

That has no bearing on the visa. You'd have to check to see if there is some law in the DR that would require him to pay before emigrating.

I went to Wells Fargo in America and they told me that the moment you enter America you start blanc.

It's your own responsibility to pay off debt. It won't even affect your credit score in America!

Oh ok... I have no problem paying it but I didn't want to pay all at once that way I can manage all the other fee that comes with our k-1... Thank you do much for your reply

Are you sure that this is true for the OP's country? Some do have requirements for their citizens before emigrating.

I happen to think that you are correct, but it's dangerous to give blanket assurances.

From other family members that have come over to the states from DR, they had to have no outstanding debt in DR before they approved their visas.... you can call the embassy to make sure, but I am pretty sure that I am correct. Good Luck!

I CALLED THE BANK YESTERDAY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT AS LONG AS WE MAKE OUR PAYMENTS THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM...
