I don't want to start this topic, but I have to.

My N-400 interview on 06/12/2012 and I got "decision cannot be made". Made the call to USCIS Tier 2 the next day, and it got approved on 06/12/2012 afternoon.

I saw people got oath letter that day, literally I saw several people in front of my naked eye that day.

Here is the question:

Who passed interview on the spot. and get oath in the mail. I know USCIS tells us between 1-120 days. How long does it take in reality?

Look like no one from my field office. I just cannot believe what take them so long

I got mines in the mail when I passed my interview. My mom on the other hand got hers on the spot. They usually try to put you in the next open ceremony. I got lucky and only had to wait a week since there were a few spots left. My mom had to wait a month.

Give then a call to see what's with the wait.

Sacramento has same day oath ceremonies. I Have not experienced it, got approved right away. But I could imagine that the background wasn't quite finished by the time of your interview.
