It's been 4weeks since I sent rfe. Things in my life are getting bad. Case still pending. I haven't gotten any letters from vcs.. I'm beyond my stress level I'm starting to feel depressed and sick.

Don't worry guys. You have tried your best and submitted everything you can. It's no use stressing yourself because of something you have no control over it. Just relax and enjoy every day, plan things for you to do like taking care of the kids, backyards, swimming...or keeping apply for jobs. I see that everybody on here got approved at the end so don't worry, its just a matter of time !

I would call again as i did a week ago. They said they sent a notice to whoever is doing my case and that I am passed the normal time frame and if I don't hear anything by the 19th I should call again. They also have me a confirmation number. But I still haven't heard anything.

Still no answer for me either. I contacted my U.S. representative and he contacted them to see whats going on. So hopefully I'll get an answer that way. You could try this also.

I got no replays no mail no email no phone calls no txt nada. It's passed 1 month. Already missed fall semester college for this and many jobs.

Sent it out April 5th and haven't heard anything from them. I called twice and I sent two emails to them. The first phone call I was told that she put my file out of normal processing time. The second time I called about two weeks after the first one she told me to email them and tell them whats going on. So i did that and only received one response which was not helpful either. So now I contacted my U.S. representative and he contacted them and will get back to me. I also missed out on the start of dream job, which requires US citizenship. It really sucks that it takes this much work and time just to find out whats going on with my case. It will be a year since I filed July 23.

wow that's really long and you have not heard anything. Your green card extension is expiring too for the next 3 months.

I would read up/do research on filing for citizenship while I-751 is pending to gain some information and educate yourself about pros and cons of doing that. I am not an expert of that, but VJ gurus here can help you or some even experienced what you are going through. Try to search the forum or ask the question outside of this July thread with a better subject title. I heard that if you file citizenship, it forces the IO at the interview to make decision on both your citizenship and I-751 applications.

Or do an info pass to your local USCIS to check up on your I-751, or try what Peter said above - just throwing some ideas.

You should call them and see if you can get any info from them. I would still wait a little longer, there are still plenty of people that filed in July that haven't heard anything including me. We must all suffer together.LOL
