I've received emails and texts from them around 1 am before. Maybe they have round the clock employees doing data entry/entering files updated, approved, etc. Congratulations regardless!

It is simply ridiculous and annoying, we have been waiting for 9 months, no lettter no info nothing. Citizenship applications can take 2 to 3 months but to renew a GC is 9 months even in third world countries similar government agencies reply quicker than USCIS. There should be definately an improvment, it is painful and frasturating for all applicants. Pay around 600 700$ and 9 months is not acceptable in my book.

I can feel your frustation...i am in the same boat...it is about 9 months now and no reply...my attorney called USICS yesterday and they said my application is still pending and they have just begun working on applications received by July 16th (shall I really believe that when the applications submitted in August 2012 are being approved so there is definitly no order there)...the USCIS officer also mentioned that these cases take an average of 6 months to 1 year and there is no need for me to worry about my application being neglected.

Easy for the officer to say all that but it is tough when you are on the other side counting months and now counting days..oh well...i guess there is no solution but to be patient...hang in there

Yes, exactly. I have also called them for my wife's case back on April 4th and they said ok we will inform you but since then it is almost a week no change for her status. What is a big shame is their online system. It has been 9 months and still our case shows initial review. Some people get their cards and their online status shows initial review. I do not know who is taking care of their website but it is obvious that they do not simply care.

Good luck to everyone who is looking for an update from USCIS. I am very really upset but my hands are tied at the moment. Most people who applied to remove conditions for their GC are ready to file for citizenship. Then, please someone explain me why we pay 600 700 $ to remove conditions and couple months later again pay for the citizenship applications. In my opinion, it is a total rip off. At least people can use their GC for couple of months but by the time your case is finalized and get your GC , you are already eligible to apply for your citizenship.

Still waiting and no update on our case.

What is so strange is while I was checking other application numbers close to our number via the tool, I realize that all other applications received also on July 6th, 2012 got stuck. So far, besides our application I saw 3 - 4 applications sent on the same day.

Do you know by any chance they process applications by date ? It is a shame that they have started September 2012 applications, people start to receive their cards and we have been waiting over 9 months here, what can I say ?
