I haven't posted in here yet but have been watching this thread in here for timelines. Just wanted to let you know that my husband's green card was approved today!! Should be receiving it within 30 days. Now we can finally plan our trip back to meet his new nephew!

Hi guys, well a little about my "life", married with a "white trash" lol yeah.. Was a happy married till December 2011, when I went to my country visit my family and I found that he was cheating me and a long drama soap opera!! He put a trash woman in the house and tried tell me to leave, my friend Sandra helped me a lot, called cops, he so say, that our marriage was ilegal bc wasn't register in USA, and bc I wasn't citizen!! Well, we was together for 4 years, married 2 years! I met him when I was working offshore! Anyway... We are divorce, thanks god! His life is a mess.. I sent my Roc on July, 2012. I did my biometric in oct, 2012, well was in August, but bc of the Isac hurricane, was delay. My final divorce was in sept, 2012! I sent to Uscis! And this was all what I sent with my package:

• Application fee $

• Form I-751

• Copy of USCIS Form I-551 (Permanent Resident Card)

• 2 photographs

• Copy of our joint US tax return for the year 2010 2011

• Copy of bank statement showing our joint saving/checking account.

• Copy of water bill, electrical bill in my ex husband’s name

• Copy of dentist invoice,showing our former address together. And that my ex husband paid the bill.

• Invoice of private school(my ex husband paid my daughter school)

• Copy of insurance car(in name of both)

• Copy of auto apolice renew showing name of both.

• Copy consent judgement(ordered by the Judge for my ex husband to pay interim periodic spousal support)

• Copy of the notice of divorce action

• copy of lease apartament (ordered by the judge for my ex husband to pay)

• 02 Copies of hospital invoice(showing my former address)

• Copy of health care card( in my name and my daughter name’s paid by my ex husband.

• Copy of police report

• Copy of passport stamp showing my visits to USA prior to my marriage

• Copy of check that my ex husband is paying me spousal supported, as ordered by court.

• Copy of my ex husband driver’s license and my driver’s license as well showing same address.

• Copy of email from my ex husband asking me not to go back to USA

We got RFE (request for evidence) in the mail on Saturday! We moved after my husband had his biometrics done from WA to MD. They stated that they needed updated evidence! I can't blame them for wanting more info with us moving to make sure we are still together and after all of the visa's I have done I guess its about time I get one of these!!!

They would seek updated evidence when an evidence not covering full period is sent. Please let us know any specifics of this RFE, if you have, to enable us to understand the real reason for this RFE. Apprciate your response.

The RFE advised that I submitted an incomplete 2011 income tax return, expired auto insurance, expired health insurance cards, and only utility and lease agreement for previous residence.

I submitted the info in last summer so of couse the auto insurance and health cards will expire after the new year. We moved and updated our address asap so of course utility bills and lease are from previous residence. We didn't know we were moving for his new job until after he had his biometrics. On the incomplete tax return, I didnt know how much of the tax return they needed so I only sent the front page showing both of our names and filing jointly. Also when I submitted the orginial paperwork I was pregant, so they did request the birth certificate.

Login to the USCIS website and see if the date has been updated on your case. The members here call that a "touch". Supposedly they looked at or updated your file.

Do people get "touched" (LOL) a lot normally? I still have 7/10 when they received it...

No not until they actually pick up your file and begin processing. With your date, you could hear something within the next 2-3 weeks.

That's what we've included in our packet... online copies of our health and auto insurance coverage in conjunction with copies of the physical cards... did not have any issues with coverage dates...

That's what we've included in our packet... online copies of our health and auto insurance coverage in conjunction with copies of the physical cards... did not have any issues with coverage dates...

This information gives further understanding - looks like they added these as additional requirement in app-girl case as they wanted their child birth certificate. Probably they wouldn't have asked for those by themselves.
