You can file for citizenship 3 years after the date on your green card. You can apply up to 89 days before the third year anniversary date on your green card. You can't file for a U S Passport. You get that after you become a U S citizen.

Sorry, so that would put us at after approximately 5 months processing time after filing the n-400 to November 2013.... Then how many more months for the test and oath ceremony?

It's 90 days, not 89. ( I understand this might have been a typing error, but still)

Please visit N-400 forums on VJ and ask those questions there. Specifically about oath - that is specific to the field office, so you'd need to find people who have applied at the field office you are applying at.

Someone please update the timeline. Received notice letter from USCIS that their ROC has been approved, on 2/27/2013, and GCs have been ordered and will be mailed within 60 days.

No interview.

WOHOOO! I received 3 txt messages (lol) yesterday telling me to look at my case. I went online, checked it, and saw that I was approved and that my card was sent to production =D! I have had a rough path, and after all the money, the time, the tears, the stress... I seriously began to cry from happiness as soon as I saw the approval message hahahaha.... Yesterday night it was celebration night! OH, and my birthday is March 5th, so this was definitely an awesome birthday surprise! =D
