if one is getting RFE, will he/she be getting notifications?

Same here - case still on initial review - last touched exactly 6 months ago so hopefully we only have about two weeks more to wait :yes:

As for the RFE - do you check your case status online at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do ? If not, check it out. They will text and/or email you with any updates if you want them to. Otherwise, they will send you a letter explaining how to proceed after you receive the RFE. Good luck!

As far as I know, at ROC stage, there is no update for RFE on case status online nor e-mail notification...
