We had to reorder checks too. They came in the mail within a week. I would not use those temporary checks because there are a lot of businesses not accepting those and you don't want to risk it if USCIS is weird about it. Money orders is the way to go if you will not wait for the checks. A voided check with both of your names on it is great evidence too thou. But this is just my opinion, others might answer better :)

hello everybody ! my name is francisco I sent my papers to remove my condition to CSC 2 days ago(07/09/2012). said it will arrive next day. card expires 09/01/2012. I joined the forum so I could compare with others how long it takes. a lot of good people here. thank you. I see a lot of activity as well which is good.!

Hey guys, July filer here! I sent out our I-751 packet to CSC on July 6. My wife's conditional GC expires 9/15 (a little late on sending out the packet -- our window opened in June). The check was cashed yesterday 7/11. Hoping for a smooth and quick process.

Quick question for you guys... my wife will be going for a quick trip to the Philippines from 7/25 to 8/8 -- and since her GC do not expire until 9/15, she shouldn't have any problem coming back in, right? -- what i also plan to do is to have here bring a copy of the NOA1 (when we receive it) to show proof that her removal of conditions is in the works. Anything else she should bring?

I still haven’t got the NOA1 yet.

But I think it’s still in a reasonable time period. I observe that it usually arrive like 6-7 days after uscis received the packet.

Even though I shipped it out on Monday 2th in the late afternoon. But it was 4th of July week and I live in Hawaii not on the mainland.

USPS website showed that the packet was delivered on Friday 6th at 11 am . and now it’s only Wednesday( haven’t checked mailbox yet today, it’s still 9.57 am in Hawaii). So, I guess I’ll wait until Wednesday next week.

We sent off our I-751 to the Vermont center on 07/05/2012 and got delivery comfirmation on 07/09/2012. Waiting to see check cash to know something is happening.

Got my NOA1 today! :dance: It has a receipt date of 7/9/12. Updated my timeline below.

It answered my previous question too -- it says "Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. During the one-year extension you are authorized employment and travel."

So I guess my wife will not be having any issues coming back after her quick trip to the Philippines :thumbs:

When is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list ;)
