Is there a way to check that status online again like during the initial application?

yes..use your case# from your BIO appt letter..it is different from the case# on your NOA1 letter

Had to reschedule her biometrics for 8/22/12. All total, was in the office for 12 minutes.

Please update our info.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

DH tried to do a walk in at the ASC in Grand Rapids, MI on Aug. 17. There were 4 people in the 50 chairs (family with 2 kids). DH was turned away. Told he had to wait for the appointment date. I don't understand why in the world of computer scheduling, the government can't just let us chose the date we want to have biometrics on. We had been in Grand Rapids on Aug. 17 for other business and figured one 1.5 hour drive would be plenty. Anyway, he is now waiting for Sept. 7 (the original date).

Thank you! I didn't notice that.

I did my biometrics yesterday in Atlanta, GA.

Weather was bad so I walked in a half hour early instead of killing time outside. It wasn't a problem but I really didn't get called until my appointment time at 11, although they had just given me a number.

It seems like they do three digit numbers for about a half hour after the full hour and then switch to special two digit numbers (either for Naturalization or maybe AOS - not sure).

Also, there always was a bunch of people inside and more would come to replace the ones that were done.

I wouldn't try a walk in at this location.

Finally moving along - got my biometrics done almost within my regular lunch break time - inside the ASC Tukwila/Seattle for about 20 minutes max! :dance: Now the real wait begins

Ah, yeah I tried a walk-in two years ago which was a disaster - I waited 4 hours without getting in :wacko:
