"Police Report" for China K1

Hi VJers - have a question about the "Police Report" required to bring to the interview (in China). Does one Police Report prepared from the Police Department where my Fiancee currently lives (yes, she has lived there for more than 6 months) suffice, or does she have to have a separate Police Report form everywhere in China she has lived since she was age 16? She has lived in China her whole life, but at several places since age 16. I'm a little confused about this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks, you are right, she already has some experience (frustration) with that, in getting her certified Divorce certificate - HaHa!

It's funny, when we talked on Yahoo Messenger this morning, I warned her to keep moving forward on getting everything ready for the interview, because I had a feeling we would finally get notice of NVC case this week, and then things would start happening fast, and she Pooh-Poohed me and laughed, and said "still plenty of time". :P

But she will be so glad (when she wakes up and finds out), like me, that she doesn't have as much time as she thought when she went to bed last night!! :D

As I know now in the whole China, the criminal records are national interconnected, which means any place in China they can see your records online (However I have no idea she needs to get this notarized police records at the place where her Hukou (户口)is or not). Here is my experience.I got my police record in Shenzhen where my Hukou is. I called police station which issued my no-crimial record and told them I have lived in Shanghai for several years for studying, and do I need to come back to Shanghai to get another one? They told me, no, this is enough. Then I went to notary office, and talked with notary about this issue. They told me notary just follows the letter issued by police station to make the notary. So in my notarized book, here is the explanation of no-criminal records "This is to certify that xxxxx had no record of committing offences during her residence in the People's Republic of China till xxxxxx". This is just for living in China, and if stayed overseas more than 6 months which will be another story.
