On June 13 we received email that I-130 was approved. June 29 received email from USCIS that packet was returned undeliverable. July 2 called USCIS. I stated both me (USC) and my husband (Mex) reside in Mexico and have received prior correspondence (i.e., receipt of I-130 application and RFE). USCIS said I-130 approval packages can only be sent within the USA and since the address was Mexico US postal service couldn't deliver it within the US (invalid zip). We went through US lockboxes and not Consulate. Shouldn't USCIS sent the package to NVS? I asked them to send it to my domiciled address in the US. They said they couldn't after approval of petition. How do I obtain this package? I can not find any info. on this type of situation nor have I read anything to make me aware of this prior to my circumstance. Thank you so much.

Okay u keep saying package. You are talking about the I-797C approval letter or the actual package? Have you talked to an actual tier 2 supervisor seems they don't know at the lower level whats up. Well its approved so thats a relief. and your I-130 packet is on its way to NVC i would think. Call NVC and ask them also. This is the weirdest thing I have heard. I am so sorry.

On June 29, 2012, the post office returned your document I130, IMMIGRANT

PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN as undeliverable.

The above is the email I received. Before this on the June 13 received approval email of I 130. I talked to an officer, I was transferred from Tier 1. Perhaps they attempted to mail this to NVS and it got returned. " ...returned your document I130".
