I am trying to call NVC today at this number 6033340700 but I unable to connect to it. I am getting a busy tone ( beeps ) . Anyone else have this problem?

I-130 Timeline

--------USCIS STAGE ---------

13-Feb-2012: I-130 Petition Mailed

14-Feb-2012: I-130 Petition Received

16-Feb-2012: NoA1 via text/email. Case transferred to VSC.

21-Feb-2012: NoA1 hard copy received.

I am not 100% sure but it may be because of problems caused by a major storm that we had here on the East Coast of the US last Friday night. There are still hundreds of thousands without power and I am sure that telephone issues go along with that. I live in Maryland, close to DC where the NVC is located and I just got my power back on last night. Many of my colleagues in DC are still without power. Be patient! I am sure they will be back to normal soon!

I live 20 minutes from the NVC in New Hampshire, we did not have any of the storms the mid Atlantic had. Not an issue

When they are really busy, you will hear the busy signal (there isn't enough capacity for more people to be put on hold). Give it 30 min and try again.

call early in the morning when they start work 730and 800 am ,if busy put your phone on redail or eveing after 900pm.

Not me. I got my NOA 2 on jun 28th so I guess I have to wait few more days.
