Hi, i hope this doesnt go against the posting guides...

a couple of years ago i had developed a tool for immigration attorneys that would allow them to create all the USCIS PDF documents on the fly.just like turbotax does..., for example they would select K1, K3, AOS, and so on, and walk through a wizard /questionaire filling the stuff up, when it was done it would populate all the PDFs to print out....

the software had a 3 year non disclosure agreement, along with a 3 year non-reproducable license that i sold along with the software... the three years are up...

lawyers are !@#!@#!@, they charge way to much for the little they do., i was wondering that if i convered that software to the new USCIS forms and set it up, would it be helpfull? id like to make it free, just like VJ is., and be really helpfull, but it might not be possible because of all the work that goes into the pdf's, for all those that have filled forms, or will be filling forms., would you use one?

VJ admin/owners, if you guys are interested in pairing up with this tool we can work something out., let me know,. thanks...

9/22/2006 - called national customer support., been 90 days, no interim ead (i knew i wldnt have it yet) was told to go to santa ana

9/26/2006 - office claims file is floating around somewhere in the mail room, they will find my work permit app and travel doc app and send it for processing

9/26/2006 - drive to LA to double check what they said, office at LA claims that santa ana sent work p, travel to NBC

9/27/2006 - EAD, Travel docs touched

9/28/2006 - EAD, Travel docs tocuhed

9/29/2006 - :( nothing touched, no letters no emails :(:( ---- waiting., will send letter to congressman monday

10/2/2006 - Travel Docs Touched, nothing new on EAD....Wife sent letter to congressman

10/2/2006 - Got Travel Doc in the mail

10/2/2006 9:30 PM PST, 5 email ead approved, will mail me new card

10/6/2006 10:30 AM PST, got 3 emails saying that they have mailed out an approval letter for my EAD... hmmm wheres the damn EAD,

10/7/2006 - Got EAD with a TYPO in a#!!!! in the mail

It wasnt the forms that were so bad, it was all the proof that was kinda crazy!

Hmm problem is the forms I have seen and received from USCIS and DOS were all fillable PDFs already so not much different the just filling in the form...JMHO

I answered "Yes, if it was free". But being the author of several shareware software titles myself, I'm aware of how difficult it is to find time to work on a project that makes you no money. But like others have said, most of the forms are fillable with Acrobat, and help here on VJ is free, so charging just isn't too realistic.

well the software wld be both fillable and savable, you cld access it from anywhere, it wld be a webpage -> database -> pdf generator

The people we hired (Apex Visa) to help us with the whole process, work kinda like that. We fill out the form online, send it to him and he corrects everything and makes it bullet proof, sends it back to us and we mail it.

Everything is done online and the forms (129F or any other immigration form) found on the

website contain a "SEND" button ... after I'm done filling it all out, I just have to hit that and send the forms to him. When he sends it back, it's all beautifully corrected and saved.

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!
