You can't get an interview without a valid passport. One of the requirements for the NVC stage is a photocopy of the beneficiary's valid passport, so your children can't get past NVC without them.

Your mom can get a postal ID or a voter's ID. I think even an NBI clearance is acceptable. Those are some examples of ID's that are easy to obtain.

PS. I'm sorry to hear about your mom.

my moms life is very complicated.she was an adopted daughter, the people adopt here pass away forever and never told her where she from what is real name, who's her biological parents or anything about her real life.it sad to say but she don't know who she was. that's why she don't have any identification at all.

Right! I know you're aware how important passport is...You can get an appointment online for your kids passport...There are malls also that entertain passport application now and no need to go at DFA offices...It depends where's your kids location is...You can also request for expedite release of passport...

im so exhausted now, dont really know what to do.the biggest fear i have is if i fly now back to the Phil, i will be stuck there and i cant afford for it.I just dont have any idea how long its gonna take for the NVC to process the papers for the kids.

You're Mom should go to local civil registrar in her place and discuss the situation why she dont have birth certificate for any reason and she should ask help to someone in the position as witness ( politicians) thats knows her to prove that she is a bonafide resident of that place where Local Civil Registrar is located...You're Mom will listed as "late registration"...And she will have her Birth Certificate...Hope this will help!

Far easier to detect fraudulent originals than bad scans of the originals.

If you wanted to detect forgery, isn't it better to look at the originals than poor scans?

To circumvent the 2 to 5 month wait time in China, with the casefile sent from NVC, stuck in a China Customs Warehouse.

What's yer real problem with originals submitted during interview day ?
