I know that this "middle-man" is not here to defend himself but please hear out my side of what has transpired the past three and a half months. I apologize for placing

this on the forum but my hope is that others may learn something from my experience and will be very careful when using an Immigration Services agent.

I was introduced to this "middle-man" by a co-worker friend of mine. So I trusted that everything would be done legally, thoroughly and in a timely fashion. I

asked what he would charge me for his services and replied that he was not sure and he would need to check with his main office.

Here's the timeline:

March 15, 2012:

I gave all of our necessary documents to this agent (my wife currently lives in the Philippines and I live in Hawaii).

He told me that he would send these documents to Honolulu to be reviewed by his main office and that he would advise me if any problems or questions arise.

April 1, 2012:

I called him and asked if he had heard anything from his main office. He said "no, nothing yet. They are still reviewing them."

For the next month and a half, I kept calling him to see if he heard anything. He would only say that either he had heard nothing or "soon" he should

receive the documents back so we could proceed with filing the petition.

May 10, 2012:

I called him and he said that he should finally receive our documents back in a few days because the immigration lawyer who was reviewing our paperwork was away and that

she would be mailing our documents to him. He would call me when he received them.

May 15, 2012;

He has not called me so I call him. He says he has our paperwork, everything is ok and now we can file the petition. But I must go to his house to give him the filing fee.

May 18, 2012:

I go to his house, sign the documents and give him the filing fee plus $250 as a service fee. He tells me he will get a money order the next day (May 19) and

mail out the petiion packet I-130.

We are now waiting...no calls from him and no I-797c (notice of action) for 5 WEEKS.

June 26, 2012:

I call the USCIS and ask customer service if they ever received my petiion. After asking a few questions, they check their entire database and then advise

me that they do not have a petition from me in their system.

July 1, 2012;

I talk to the middle-man and he tells me that he has NO receipt from mailing out the petition!! He put stamps on the package and placed it in the mailbox! No registered mail, no

USPS Priority, no way to track that packet! I have a receipt of the actual money order purchased on May 19, 2012 but when I trace that serial number online, it says that

there is no information available on that USPS money order so i guess it has not yet been cashed.

This man claims to have helped many people in the last 30 years and is also a notary public.

I cannot understand for the life of me, why he has put my wife's and my life on hold for months now?! We have learned so much from this website and only wish we found out about VisaJourney months ago. That would definitely have helped prevent stress, frustration and heartache!

ALOHA to all of you!

I'm sorry to hear about what happened. but I do believe in KARMA, what goes around comes around.

My hubby is also from Hawaii and me in the Philippines... my hubby did it all by himself, no agents

needed cuz you got VJ to help you when ur confuse about how to do this and that.

Good Luck to your Journey!

JUST PRAY, HOPE and TRUST TO THE LORD!
