Just so you all know, we should have been approved yesterday....91 days.

Instead we got sent to our local USCIS office and thrown into AP. :crying: :crying: :crying:

AP is Additional Processing....and it's certainly not good! It means, at the very least, more time (MONTHS of just sitting around hearing absolutely nothing) added onto our case.

VSC skipped all of April filers to approve a CR-1 case filed in July 2012. They were approved in 7 days. How is this fear, logical, or even legal?

This happens when the USC is living abroad with their foreign spouse. They get their applications approved super quick that way. Not sure why they are allowed to be approved so quickly but I've seen it before and it's always when the USC is living outside the US.

Actually, the OP emailed me and informed me that she had her case expediated due to sickness. That made sense to me but a 7 day approval when there are tons of files ahead of them just didn't seem logical at all. Often people do report they were approved in a very short time and I'm finding that there is always more to the story than, "God blessed us." As if no one else is in entitled to a blessing so I wanted to know how was even possible. And I was correct in my interest, there was more to the story.
