You might hear back from NVC with in 1st week of August and interview date might be around 2nd week of September.....

Never Hurts earlier though....lol.....

:wacko: I hope it's earlier than that. I know someone whose case was upgraded to IR1/CR1 july 6 and got an interview date on July 12.

I'll tell my husband to call NVC tomorrow to get an update.

The NVC completed its processing of XXX XXX's visa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S.

Embassy or Consulate in PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA. When an interview

appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant,

designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be

notified.

Immigrant visa petition PHPXXXXXXXX is currently on a list of

completed cases awaiting the availability of visa numbers. This petition

I wish you are right and I am wrong.....I know its ( scheduling for interview) totally depends upon embassy to embassy. But if i am not wrong, your friend just got the notification of the interview date on July 12th and actual interview should be next month.

i called NVC and spoke with supervisor.

she mention that by the time ur case was upgraded we were already done with interview scheduling for the following month that is august. so now we will schedule for september in first 2weeks of august.

but if the embassy contacts us n say that we are backed up and not scheduling for the month of september then we wont b able to schedule

or

if the embassy contacts nvc before that and say you can go ahead and schedule more interviews even before september we will go ahead and notify you via email.

again it all depends on the consulate where u will have your interview.

she advised me to call back in august 2nd week. beause nvc schedule in first 2 weeks of every month.

in ur friends case case was completed within first 2 weeks so thts y they are able to get interview date faster.

so the bottom line is that i have to do nothing but wait :(

to b honest its not sad...........think abt the ppl who are waiting for their priority date to be current. i was at that position in the past so i can feel their pain now.

if u compare urself wid them we are way better 2 weeks are better than 2 yrs okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.............. so take a chill pill and dont worry.............. plan something else in the mean time to divert ur attention. dont call nvc to much u will be absolutely fine .

I just received my interview schedule on 4th September! :dance:

Hope you guys too.

Congratulation.....

I was close ( 1st week of September Vs 2nd week).....lol....

Now, WAIT is almost over. If there is no red flag, Interview should be just as a PART of process...but always good to " WELL PREPARED" for it. Gather all possible evidences that proofs the relation is GEUINE and the marriage is not just for VISA purpose.....

Mine just upgraded to IR-1, instead of CR-1.
