Does any NVC Jun filer get Case Number yet?

The CSC filers (like me, June 5 NOA2) were screwed because the CSC fell badly behind for some unknown reason. One VJ CSC filer with an NOA2 of 30 May received his Case Number last Friday. Those of us with early June NOA2 dates should receive their case numbers in the next 6-10 days. VSC or Tampa filers are different do not experience the same delays, so if you are a CSC filer, don't compare your timeline to theirs.

Here is a good link to follow the VJ timelines of people who cases just arrived at the NVC. A lot of people don't post on forum or in a thread like this.

I set the filter to only show CSC in this link, enabled advanced mode and sort the table according to NVC receive date. As you can see the last 3 K-1 cases received at the NVC have NOA2 dated 2012-06-01, 2012-05-24 and 2012-05-29 respectively.

Notified (by my Congressman's office, not by NVC yet, maybe I will get the notification later today, or tonight from NVC) of receipt of Case from USCIS, and also have a case number assigned!

What a wait form NOA2 - 55 days - made my Fiancee and me crazy!

I absolutely love this site, and how helpful everyone is, it is indispensible for all of us going through our "Visa Journey"!

That being said, I have a request of the VJ management team:

Please change this part of the K1 Visa Flowchart:

2 Weeks5.Case Forwarded by your Service Center to the National Visa Center (NVC)Case Forwarded by your Service Center to the National Visa Center*Two weeks after you receive the NOA2 you can contact the NVC to see if they have received your approved I-129F. You can contact them at 603 334-0700. Their homepage is here. Welcome to the US Department of State! Things move much faster now :).

Suggest you modify this stage to say 2 - 8 weeks! haha!

Thanks!

I think that there is a difference between CSC and VSC times. It looks like VSC people are receiving case numbers faster.
