In reading this thread, I actually thought of another question...I had submitted a Letter from my employer with my application for a K-1 which has since been approved. So does anyone know if I can use that same letter for my i-864, or do I have to get a new letter from my employer?

Thanks!!

Jon&Clau

Some people will tell you to get a new one, but I think if it is just a few months old and your position and salary has not changed, then it should be fine to send a copy of the one you used for the K-1 and include your most recent pay stub(s) with it.

If it hasn't been too long since you got the first letter, and you're still working the same job (pay stubs should prove that) then a copy of the first letter should be ok.

Got some very good news, my company has made me full time now and actually promoted me with salary, my wife entered on her K1 a couple of days ago so we're good with income now!

If that letter is more than a month old then you should probably get another one.
