We have our first interview for the K-3 visa process today. We've already gone through biometrics and all that.

Is this the interview where we might get the green card??? Can anyone tell me what to expect at this interview, and if anyones gone through the Seattle branch please let us know how they are there.

Thank you so much!

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

I'm a little confused because your profile says that you are a "K-1", then your question says you are a "K-3", and then you say "your first interview for the K-3 visa process".

I am actually going to the Seattle office tomorrow for my Biometrics for my Removal of Conditions application. I have been to the Seattle office several times (both for myself and for my daughter) and they are very professional, it's a brand new nice building, but I have found the wait times to be a little long.

Good luck.

We were originally filing for K1...i forgot to change that we switched to K3. We've been into the Seattle office twice for his biometrics, i agree that the wait times are way to long!!

But how are you having a K3 interview in the U.S.? Are you sure you aren't adjusting status?? You do not get a green card by applying for a K3 - you would have to file for an I130 or Adjustment of Status.

My guess is since your interview is in Seattle you are actually adjusting status, so I guess the answer would be that the interview would be for the green card - but I am quite confused by your post, so I'm not sure! :)
