hello guys,

Do we need to write the case number on every single page of the documents? including I-864 form? :blush:

04/03/2009 - Day we met

10/12/2010 - Engaged!!! :D

01/06/2012 - Wedding Day!!! :)))) in Peru

02/07/2012 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

02/09/2012 - Delivered at Chicago Lockbox

02/13/2012 - NOA1 Email recieved, Routed to VCS

02/18/2012 - NOA1 hard copy recieved

06/19/2012 - NOA2 Email recieved, Routed to NVC

06/22/2012 - NOA2 hard copy recieved

06/27/2012 - NVC Recieved our file

06/29/2012 - Case Number and IIN assigned by phone

07/07/2012 - DS-261 available online

07/07/2012 - Submitted DS-261

07/09/2012 - Recieved AOS fee bill email

07/09/2012 - AOS Bill paid online

07/10/2012 - AOS bill status: PAID

07/10/2012 - I-864 Package sent

07/12/2012 - NVC recieved I-864 package

07/17/2012 - Recieved IV fee bill email

07/17/2012 - IV bill paid online

07/18/2012 - IV bill status: PAID

07/18/2012 - DS-260 available online

07/18/2012 - Submitted DS-260

07/23/2012 - I-864 accepted

08/06/2012 - Case completed NVC

09/15/2012 - Package 4 Recieved - Interview Date Oct 9th!!!!

09/20/2012 - Medical Exam Done!!

It's not required.

The reason to have the case number on the docs is so that if the file gets dropped/mixed up/etc. it's easier to reassemble and avoid an RFE.

FWIW, I printed up small labels to stick on each page.

Good idea with the labels. I had got a rubber stamp made for the USCIS stage with both our names. I surely will not order a rubber stamp for a case number. Thanks for the idea.good.gif

I wrote my case number on every page EXCEPT the originals I used a sticky note

I wrote case numbers in top right corner of eveything submitted. Originals. Chat logs. Forms. Anything submitted.

It may not be required but if someone drops your file, lose paper without numbers may become lost resulting in RFE.
