Hello all,

I sent off my I-130 packet last week, and realized that I had made a mistake on my wife's G325-A. I wrote my name instead of hers as the applicant, and wrote "N/A" in the section titled "Last address outside the USA of more than 1 year" even though she has never left Pakistan. How do I correct this error? Do I send them a letter explaining the situation along with the corrections, or do I send them another G325A? Or should I just wait for an RFE? Please advise.

I would call USCIS first thing Monday. To wait for an RFE could be months down the road. But you also don't want to send documents before knowing whats up. Did you already get your case#? is this real recent? Yes call ASAP monday.

Have you already got NOA-1 letter from USCIS? If so, I recommend to send updated G325-A form along-with a photocopy of your NOA1 letter for their reference. Before doing that I suggest to call USCIS to find out their suggestion on this. It's good that you figured out your mistake now rather than after few months during wait time.
