When all your papers from AOS to IV are all complete, then the case will be completed and will schedule you for interview.

Hey,

was asking regarding that if you were told by the NVC if August interviews are still being scheduled, as you'd again call in by mid month.

Thanks

Well she sure was a very nice lady that NVC. All this talk about NVC i just had to talk to a real person. Its only been 3 days since N)A2 but heck I wanted her to explain stuff to me. And she said No way 4 to 6 weeks to get a case # she says "I know your letter says 30 days but give it 15 days to get to us and depending on the case type its inputted and assigned a case#".

Such a nice lady she told me thank you for being so kid and i told her I know you are busy and phones ringing off the hook and she said oh know i love to help.innocent.gif

Hope she remembers my case# I gave, LOLwhistling.gif

How does the interview scheduling work? I've read the FAQ and heard what the operators keep saying (schedule 2nd week of month). My case was completed at NVC last week (6/26). My embassy is Manila. Anyone know is there some kind of guideline for how long to wait?

It's been since mid December I sent I-130 in and now all of a sudden both of us are so impatient to receive the interview date. We just want to know -- a date to finally start looking forward to this process being over.

P.S. The operators were especially grumpy Friday and today.

Hey Vilya

You do know you dont HAVE to send the transcripts? You can send the tax returns with the W2's and all schedules. We sent this for the current tax year only and it was accepted fine.

Good luck

Nat

Thanks, Nat, you are absolutely right! That was my backup plan. Since I was waiting for my husband's IV stuff to arrive, I decided to give the IRS until today. If they had not made it here today, I would have gone with the copies of the returns.

If you dont mind....what do u mean wrong transcripts?

I was not careful, and I accidentally ordered account transcripts, and not return transcripts. It's a little pull down on the online ordering site, and I was in a hurry, and did not make sure I selected the right thing. Totally my own fault.

If you want to know the time frames for the Philippines, I suggest you use the timeline feature here and do some research: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=3&op2=d&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=All&op7=Philippines&dfile=No&adv= I used this exact timeline feature when I was at NVC to determine an average amount of time between case complete and interview date scheduled, as well as time between case complete and interview date. Good luck!

Hi all

Sorry haven't been around much. It's funny that once your case closes, your focus turns to the interview. I have managed to reschedule mine to next week - July 10. I am so thrilled

It means that the whole process has taken us 4 months from the time UsCIS received the petition to interview date. I wonder is that is some kind of a record?

To those of you waiting for case numbers, invoice numbers, packages delivered or reviewed, case closed and interview dates, hang in there. It feels torturous while you are in the midst of it but the NVC process really does fly by. My advice, if you are feeling stressed, take a days break from it all. It really will do you a world of good. And stop comparing your timeline with others. It all happens for a reason.

All the best to everyone waiting and to Darnell and Saylin - THANK YOU!

Congratulations! And that is pretty fast! I think you're right! I took a "break" well, I toned it down a bit, definitely helped! Haha. Plus yesterday I took a break for real. Timelines are great, especially to tell me that this all can't happen instantaneously and they help me grasp reality a bit, plus encouraging light at the end of the tunnel! Haha but I do see your point too! Again, congrats!M

Funny you said weight i got on the scale after my NOA2 text on saturday and I swear I was 4 lbs lighter. Like what in the world. I was stressin cuz the previous week the scale said I gained 9 lbs in a week. I mean come on. Pressure did that. Now since that text I am literally floating but stressin now. LOL but in a good way. I want interview now and its only 3 days in NVC hehe

Definitely know the feeling!!

I ALWAYS called them once per day after 6:00pm ET to get any status updates. I called them at different time only when I had a specific question regards to AOS or IV procedure.

good idea! Speaking of which, I have a question, now that my 15 business days are past, I spoke with two different operators who told me to scan my NOA2 to them. Does this help at all? My scanners broken. :(

I totally understand the feeling! I managed to wait for a little over a week before I started calling, not every day but as time went by I started calling more, and now that the 15 business days are past I will call every day.Every single person I talked to on NVC says, "I'm sorry, nothing's showing on that receipt number. Do you have a recent approval notice? What's the date? ... It usually takes 15 business days to recieve a case from USCIS, please call 15 business days after your receipt notice date" - just so you recent NOA2ers have an idea of how it has gone for me.

Now my 15 business days are up (today!) :) and now they're telling me to scan my receipt notice so they can investigate the status of my case. Have you guys done that? Just curious.

If it helps, we got our case completes on June 7. We got our packet 4 e-mail (interview letter) a week after, on June 15. Our interview is scheduled July 11.

.

Awesome! Congrats! July 11 is the one month mark from my NOA2, hoping to have a case number by then! Best of luck!!

It's great to hear all the good news!! And good luck to all! And thank you!!
