i think nvc is onto me... it seems like most of the time i am getting operator abby to answer my calls. she seems rude when i ask her about my case.

So, what's the call count on reaching a supervisor ?

NVC. Told us that our case is expedited... TheY send it to US embassy Manila... even without an interview date. They said that we will be the 1 calling the embassy if our case is there & when is my interview date...

Do u have any idea if this is the fastest way?

My case is CR1

This is the fastest way.

However, you need to check in with Manila IV about the status of the casefile - they cannot schedule you until it actually arrives and then they have to OPEN the casefile.

Once the casefile is opened, they CAN schedule you. Getting on the schedule requires a phone call.

An immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for the applicant at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in

GUANGZHOU ELECTRONIC on September 6, 2012 at XX:XX Xm.

i am feeling very empty that i don't have anyone to chase around. i guess i should start contacting the embassy.

If that's something from NVC Inside of YOUR Email Inbox - hey ! Congratulations ! Finally the email queue has emptied out of NVC, and caught up with you.

so, my advice to 'get a supervisor' and discuss the scheduling queue for EP casefile headed into GUZ IV went unheeded, apparently.

'operators' are useless for EP status.

I've tried to 'get that across' to you this month and last; I surmise I failed. Talking to an 'operator' is useless, they know nothing about EP.

so basically, I was telling you that the NVC TeleOperators know nothing of EP Processing, and know NOTHING of the hidden, special queue for scheduling interviews at Guangzhou IV.

The fact that you got an 'interview date set' dated the 6th of August, is proof positive that I'm right about this. If I was wrong, why, the NVC TeleOperators would have TOLD YOU about it during all the times you've called, past the 6th.

I'm not trying to 'prove up' that I'm right - but you seem to continue to not heed my advice on these things.

i did speak to a supervisor, but was given the same info as operator. didn't bother much here.

i was told by an operator that my case was completed on the 2nd... but on tuesday morning, i was told it is completed on the 6th.... one operator said my case was reopened and closed as explanation to the dilemma.. i am like #######?

I mentioned nothing about cancelling the expedite processing.

When an expedite is approved, MOST casefile processing at NVC stops , the casefile is bundled up, and sent on to the Manila IV unit (in your case).

Think of it as a 'snapshot' at a particular date and time.

Is the casefile intake completed at NVC? Probably not, so

YOU and YOUR USCITIZEN PETITIONER need to 'finish up' the remainder of the document intake

WITH

The Manila IV Unit, usually on interview day.

To get an interview, though, you must CONTACT the Manila IV Unit, and make arrangements with them; hence my label of 'checking in' with the Manila IV unit.

What is that remainder? It varies, with each human, depending on WHEN the expedite was approved at NVC, and WHERE in the NVC document intake process the actual document intake stopped.

Only you know what's what, for exact status of document intake at NVC.

Well the NVC told us that our case indicates as complete. We already send all forms & requiremets in NVC (AOS & packet IV) last 3 weeks. . However Since our expedite process was approved this past days.. NVC can't give us an interview date & our case is pass to US embassy manila.

I just dont know if how will i know that our case is there already.

.. Im in doubt that this expedite thing will just make our case slower ;( i dont know -- or im just paranoid

Quick Q: how can i check in the MANILA IV?

Are they gonna email me/us if they got our case?

Or i have to call the MANILA US embassy every now & then ..

Just in case if anybody is traveling to China (like me), starting Aug 01 2012, the chinese visa application is getting more complicated. They need an invitation letter from a chinese citizen. I am not going into details, you should be able to find the info from china embassy websites.

I am not surprised to see the chinese getting more demanding on their visa application, after seeing how hard it is for a chinese to get a US visa...

A quick update:

IV Package sent yesterday and should reach the NVC latest by Aug 15th. The homework is done . Now let's hope and pray that in few days we close NVC chapter and get and interview appointment soon (hopefully September )

interesting that a dos operator told me that my case has to be reviewed by china customs before reaching the embassy. i know this is false and swear i read somewhere that online process goes directly to the embassy than china customs.

can someone confirm?
