yes they are very rude when I called to ask the interview date.

May just start doing some preparation for your spouse's interview. It doesn't really matter if the interview is 2 days earlier or later, just make sure the interview do go well. I have read a couple visa denial cases here and it seems scary to even think about it.

Hey hey there we will have none of that. How can you be denied when you have an army of family and friends and Saylin guiding you along the correct path of paperwork. At least one thing we all have in our favor is we did it the right way and all things are in order. Breathe relax and know you are more than a conqueor and you will get what you set out to get.(L)

it also depends on the officer. always pack much evidence of your relationship at the interview. i guess my case complete date is same as yours.

beside calling them few times a day helps my anxiety. i remember when uscis approved my petition in mid day, i felt kinda depress because i can no longer call them. i always learn something interesting about them and was close to pinpointing their call center location - which is in california.

when they told me my case was complete on 8/2, that afternoon i felt relieved and at night time i felt emptiness. so i decided to start calling again and i felt much better. it is not that i don't have anything to do, i don't feel like there is enough to do for time wise. i am already a board member in aspa and just finished a dragon boat race last weekend.

my wife is already prepared for the interview at the very beginning. she pretty much knows how i think and have access to all my accounts online.

it irritates me furthermore that nvc does not have any performance management report. i mean comon the government performance and results act. i think there should be some kind of real competition for providing services. serco being the sole contractor for so long is not a good thing because it stifles competitiveness.

thanks guys, it is good to check in here and discuss the progress among each other.

regarding the interview, I too hope there is no problem. but it is scary to think what is the approximate % of CR1/IR1 visa denial. I mean are we talking about 1 out of 100, or 1 out of 10? 1 out of 10 would be really a bit scary. I read some horrible stories of some other applicants. I plan to go with my spouse to Guangzhou and wait outside. This should help. unlockyingsky, maybe your interview date is same as mine, just in case, haha, if you going too then maybe we 2 will meet in the waiting room

NVC message us:

The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing.  This  file will be immediately  forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General.  Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General.

Please note that the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General may still request additional forms or fees at the time of your interview. Please be prepared to submit any missing forms and pay any required fees at the time of your interview.

==========================================

Does any1 here who tried to receive this kind of message from NVC?

Is this a good news that our case will be expedited & send to US embassy right away?

Do we have to wait until the embassy will Call the beneficiary for her interview date? Or we will be the 1 who will call to the US embassy?

What paper works do we usually prepare for the interview?

What fees do we need to pay in the US embassy?

Or does it mean the physical medical Exam fee?

Our case : CR-1

I mentioned nothing about cancelling the expedite processing.

When an expedite is approved, MOST casefile processing at NVC stops , the casefile is bundled up, and sent on to the Manila IV unit (in your case).

Think of it as a 'snapshot' at a particular date and time.

Is the casefile intake completed at NVC? Probably not, so

YOU and YOUR USCITIZEN PETITIONER need to 'finish up' the remainder of the document intake

WITH

The Manila IV Unit, usually on interview day.

To get an interview, though, you must CONTACT the Manila IV Unit, and make arrangements with them; hence my label of 'checking in' with the Manila IV unit.

What is that remainder? It varies, with each human, depending on WHEN the expedite was approved at NVC, and WHERE in the NVC document intake process the actual document intake stopped.

Only you know what's what, for exact status of document intake at NVC.

I NEVER suggested what you're suggesting.

Sorry.

Really??

Soo what is your advice to us? Cancel the expedite processing??

That's my concern too. Esp now due to the bad weather / flooding in manila. They have been close since last week & resched those applicants... Sooo i guess this month of august

The us embassy will be full of applicants...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
