Just spoke to another operator. She said that even though we have already sent the proof of residency with I-130, i still have to send the information again to NVC because NVC is different from USCIS. She also said that i should email them and request to update my address and change the embassy and new case number will be emailed to me. When i ask her about the AOS fee and DS-3023, she said that i should pay the fee and send the DS-3023 with this current case number as the new case number will be linked to the old case number and they can pull all the info with both case numbers.

I just spoke to my wife. She told me that she did send my residency visa copy to USCIS and still they made this mistake . should i call NVC and speak to the supervisor?

Just because you sent it to USCIS doesn't mean NVC received/saw it. Just send the same information pronto, like they said.

NVC broke me ya'll. I submitted to them and scanned my approval letter to their flippin nvcresearch. 27 days no recieved date. Now another email to clog the system. ughhh.

Well at least I get 3 weeks off for the interview what ever decade that will be in.

Paid IV, got Paid status, mailed packet today...7 lbs. Nope, did not front load at USCIS but did at NVC stage, just correspondence and highlighted phone records for one year mainly. Before you ask why...MENA country. Overnight USPS was going to be around $70 USD. So I forwarded Priority Mail which will get there on Monday...$24.00.

My job is done unless I get RFE. Praying everything they needed and asked for is included. I went over this packet and meticulously recorded every piece of paper.

I guess we will know in about a week. Where is a fingers cross emoticon when you need one? I also need one that pats itself on the back. I'm proud of myself!

looks like it is taking around 9 business days to review electronic documents. my AOS was sent last monday and this is thursday afternoon, and they finally mention they accepted the AOS document. going to call again to verify, hopefully the other operator says the same thing.

Grats on mailing out the IV package! Probably a good idea about the priority mail. That's mighty expensive for overnight

I know . Not like I don't have things to do. Mountains of things to do. So I think I will just let the nvcresearch do their thing. I mean what do they do (oh we found your case in a box under the breidge). Goodness.

You asked an incomplete question and got an incomplete answer. That's the way I see it. NVC operators won't have any update on your AOS and IV package until reviewed by an officer. If you have asked them "when do you update AOS/IV package status?" you would get an answer "only after it's reviewed".
