So close...

Just got this via email:

The NVC completed its processing of XXXXXXXX's visa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in DAKAR, SENEGAL. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

Let's hope it doesn't take another month to get an interview scheduled!

Grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif Time to update your timeline and signature ;)

Start calling NVC and DOS tomorrow (and every day after) to find out if your interview date has been assigned. Good luck!

what happened is that they didn't open/read your mail/email yet. it will take around 5 days. and what you are receiving is a false rfe. if the list contained something you did not send earlier, then send in that missing item w/ bar code page.

Thank u..

Hopefully it is a false RFE.

we already send the AOS doc. We are just wondering if what does the financial support suppose to be. Why its stated something missing. & it is not specific if whats missing.

We called the NVC. & told us that they are still reviewing the papers..

don't send anything unless you get a email requesting you to complete the ds3032 form. as for the aos, don't send it in until 1 day after your payment. that is because they won't open your email until a few days later. this narrows the gap between fee submission date and paid date.

i was finally able to pay the visa bill. i have everything ready to be sent in.

I've been reading through the forums and I'm wondering if there is another fee that will need to be paid at the interview stage. If so, how much? I can't find it on the State Dept. website, but in the Embassy review for Dakar, someone mentioned having to pay a fee on the day of his interview.

Hey, so I got an e-mail with the DS-3032... Ignore it, right?

Oh and my AOS fee was available today!! Not until the late afternoon though. Just paid it! :)

Yes, ignore the DS-3032 as you submit the online DS-261.

Grats on paying the bill ;)

don't send anything unless you get a email requesting you to complete the ds3032 form. as for the aos, don't send it in until 1 day after your payment. that is because they won't open your email until a few days later. this narrows the gap between fee submission date and paid date.

i was finally able to pay the visa bill. i have everything ready to be sent in.

Please keep in mind, not everyone is eligible for electronic processing; most snail mail packages in.

Okay, answered my own question about the DS-3032 - I knew it but I just wanted to be 100% sure because sometimes I get confused. In the packet the NVC e-mailed us, it states that it's not necessary for electronic processing. OK! :)

Electronic processing is sending packages by email. What you mean is online forms (DS-261 and DS-260). The DS-261 is the online version of the DS-3032, which Mexicans are required to do.

I'm all over it. I actually called this morning at 8AM and was told they were still waiting on IV package, then got the case complete email around 3PM.

I'll be calling in the AM regarding our interview date.

Only K1 applicants have a fee to pay at the interview. The only fee an IR-1/CR-1 would pay is a courier fee, and this always varies by country. For Canada, it's free; I don't know about Senegal.
