Just got an email requesting:

IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center is waiting for an Immigrant Visa Application to be submitted for this case.

The Principal Applicant and any other Applicants who will be accompanying him or her to the United

States must now download and complete an Immigrant Visa Application; please visit the following

website for instructions:

http://immigrantvisas.state.gov (click on the link for "submit Visa application and civil documents")

Please submit the Immigrant Visa Application form(s) and required supporting documents for each

Applicant in one package to the National Visa Center; sending this information separately will delay

your visa.

I'm assuming this is the checklist referred to in the FAQs that we should ignore if we have already submitted both the AOS and IV packages. But I just wanted to verify.

I would love to say thanks to everyone who has offered any help throughout this process for my husband and I.

We were approved today at the consulate in Barbados. I have posted a review here: http://www.visajourn...php?entry=10042 if anyone is interested.

I wish you all the best in all of your endeavors. Now unto POE!

Grats! kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

I remembered before that you need to go for seminar before you go to the USA, but i forgot if its before interview, after,or with visa. ???

You're talking about the CFO seminar, I think. This is Philippines-specific (no other country does it that I know of). I suggest looking in the Philippines regional forum for your answers: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/ Don't post a new topic, actually search for it there. I'm sure this is a common question with a million topics already created. And it's probably mentioned somewhere on the Embassy site: http://manila.usembassy.gov/

Yup, that's what we call a false checklist here on VJ. That's excellent news. This is a very good indication that your AOS package was reviewed and accepted. I suggest calling NVC asap and ask!

The wait just to get the AOS invoiced is getting ridiculous. Today, I was greeted by an operator who refused to listen to my full questions and kept interrupting me with "Please wait 20 business days for the next step".

In return, I snickered and asked: "You are in customer service, aren't you? Just want to make sure".

dear all. I!m new here and so glad I found this place.! So my husband the USC is filing for me and we finally got our case number and IIN. Our noa was on June 8 and they only issued case number July 13. AOS still not invoiced! I,m trying though to figure out how to finish the packets in the meantime. So I have some questions just to make sure I get it right.

I should go ahead and send an email with my choice of agent, right? We di call them and provide emails. It is just a plain email not an attached form, right? And then I might expect an email form them with an attached form that I can ignore, please correct me if I,m wrong

Also I,m trying to fill in ds 230 but so confused. There is a question about people who are traveling with you or after you, I think question 30, does that mean my husband and son who are US citizens or only other immigrants. Someone told me I should write none since my husband and son are us citizens although they are here with me in Egypt and will be traveling together.

Thanks for everyone here ! Please try to help me with this and good luck to al of us this July!

The AOS should be invoiced soon. Just keep an eye on the payment portal as often as you can/want.

Yes, send the DS-3032 asap. It's just a plain email, no attachments. Go to the first post, there's a link to the template. Copy it exactly and put in your information.

If you haven't gotten it already, NVC will email you a copy of a really old DS-3032 (mine came in the initial information package that contained my case number, IIN, etc). This is in no direct response to your DS-3032 email, it's just an automatic, generated email from NVC.

The question on the DS-230 you're referring to is only for those IMMIGRATING with you, not travelling with you. So, no, this won't include your husband or son if they're US citizens.

If you gave over both email addresses to an operator, then you should receive the initial information package in a few days, probably next week sometime.

You should also send the DS-3032 by email. The link to the template is in the first post.

Also check into the payment portal and keep an eye on the AOS bill as it'll be invoiced (probably next week).

I suggest you go back to the first post and read all the guides I put together as well as the FAQ I wrote. It should help you with NVC :)

Yes! There is a seminar from the CFO agency partners.

U cAn attend the seminar before or after ur visa.

If u attend before ur visa issuance, at least u already hv a certificate from the CFO agency partners, but u will still have to go back at the CFO department when u have ur visa so that u can get ur CFO sticker on ur visa.

If u attend after your visa issuance ; u can get ur certificate & sticker at the same day. The seminar is just half day & during the afternoon ul undergo an individual interview after that u will receive a certificate of attendance from the CFO partner agency.

If u have your certificate, uL go to the CFO department and present your certificate, pay around P400-600, and the CFO Will place a sticker on your visa.

Good luck ^__^
