So NVC received our case on June 25th. Yesterday, July 18th at 22:12 (Amsterdam time zone) my wife's phone buzzed. We received an E-mail from NVC that a casenumber as generated! Yay!!! We weren't expecting this till next week! Maybe NVC is catching up some speed...?!

Looking at your timeline, your NOA2 was June 4th. It's actually taken you more than a month for a case number, so your case was actually slower than average.

Was the email you received in direct response to the email you sent? If it wasn't, then don't bother re-sending it.

I should've asked not only what time is the best tiem to be put through quicker, but also the time when the operators are nicer. I have continually been getting longer wait times and meaner operators. I bet the two things are related!

I usually call in the afternoon, and though wait times aren't short, the operators seem nice, and they usually try their best to help.

Congratulations to everyone on the case completes, interview dates, case numbers and other good news!

On our visa front, they *finally* reviewed our AOS packet and, of course, sent us a checklist (they didn't like my self-employment letter). Happily I dropped both our correction packets into the mail today, and they should be there tomorrow morning. I am hopeful that they will review everything, find it adequate, and accept it by the end of the month.

Best of luck to everyone out there!

Well, glad they finally reviewed your package, but boo on the checklist. Hopefully they get to your response checklists faster than your original packages.

If it's not in response, then that email was in no direct connection to your email.

Nope. The email you just got from NVC has NOTHING to do with your DS-3032 email. If it's not a direct reply to your email, it's auto generated.
