will guard it with my life.......kkkkkkk!!

Thanks to all here and I bid you all the best in your visa quest.

i didn't receive my aos bill yet but already have my case and iin number.

i went online to payment portal last night and i got this message:

"You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

does anyone knows whats up with that?

Yup, yer AOS fee bill is in the throes of being 'generated'. Once that generation is finished, you can log in to the payment portal again.

Do wait on that AOS Fee Bill to hit yer inbox, though, as that's yer trigger point for OPTING IN for NVC Electronic Processing.

This is probably a stupid question, but if any further evidence of the on-going marriage required at the NVC, or should this just be taken to the embassy interview? Right now, my partner and I have filled out all the forms required, and the evidence to accompany them (police certificates, etc, plus W2s, etc), ready to send as soon as a case number is issued. But if more evidence is required, we'd like to start printing off emails/call logs/etc now.

required at NVC? No.

But NVC will add it to the casefile, if'n you send it.

For some IV Units, like Guangzhou, Lagos, Islamabad; this is useful,

as a Visa Officer has the evidence in the casefile, prior to interview day,

and will read/review the evidence prior to interview day

DURING the casefile review done PRIOR to interview day.

So, if you have massive red flags that were never covered in your casefile submittal

or if you are not a UK-born UK-Citizen (for example a Nigerian living in the UK on a student visa)

then it makes sense to add in this evidence during DS-230 submittal.

The 'fraud meters' for a UK Citizen in the UK seem different than those for a PRC Citizen living in Canada, for example.

Good Luck !

Just wanted to provide a little update on my end. I have written up a interview review ( can't figure out how to add the link to it here - sorry) for those who asked.

Embassy Review at the bottom of http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=127118

Congrats on the approval, and thanks so much for writing up an embassy review. Makes a world of difference for those coming up behind you, their place in the queue.

Hey y'all...

I have been planning to have a joint sponsor, but now I'm thinking about going just me because I definitely make enough money. I only hesitated to because I don't have a W2 for my current job. I asked an NVC operator today if an employment letter is enough to prove my current income (even without a company letterhead since I work as a nanny). They said it was ok. Should I believe them? Has anyone had a negative experience with this? Thank you!

Is impossible to use a W-2 as 'current income', as W-2 is for what happened prior year - not for what's happening now, this year.

Current Income is just that, for the current year, and it's a approximation and/or forecast for ALL of the income you will receive, prior to taxes and expenses, for the entire year, all 365 days. It is NOT an accumulation from Jan 1 to July 13th, it's a FORECAST from Jan 1 to Dec 31.

So, an employment letter showing this 'annualized income' is useful, to show 'current income' on the I-864.

Some people used payment stubs, some people used deposit notices from bank - it all can vary.

Think a bit more about what you have, what you actually have, to prove up 'current income', then try to ascertain if you need something more, something else.

Good Luck !

hi guys, I have a question. I finally got my AOS invoice today in email and I am composing the OPTIN email with 3032 attached.

My question is in the email body, after listing case#/petional info/beneficiary info, do I have to write more to make it like in this guide? (and I am the petitioner and sending this email)

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

Since for Guangzhou China the email is for OPTIN + 3032, so it makes me confused a bit. Thanks for any tips!!

Please study what's in the BODY section,

here -> http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing#How_to_OPT_IN

as it's taken from the NVC EP instructions, directly.

Just the case number on the top-right of all pages. Only exceptions: bar-coded cover sheet and cover letter. Don't write the case number on those.

i find it weird that we were approved the I-130 and the I-129F the same day and NVC has received the I-129F since monday without the I-130, They told my hubby that they have started processing the I-129F already..... they told my hubby to call back next week to find out if the I-130 petition has arrived... i really wish for them to process the I-130, but whichever way all i want is to be with my husband as soon as possible.

This is one of those rare circumstances of the I-129F arriving at the NVC first. Since you have indicated that you want to pursue the CR-1 path, you will need to keep calling the NVC and see if they have received the file.
