thanks dana, am sending out my police report and the DS-230 to him this week, will keep you updated on how it goes.

Hi honey, don't forget your long form birth certificate as well...and if it has been longer than six months for your passport photo's you may want to take new one's and send him four to six new ones on white background. 2 x 2 inches.

GOT THE INVOICE NUMBER but was told to WAIT for NVC to send me the fee bill! Are you serious? Ho long does that take???

OH and got my TAX transcripts....ready to send the first packet! (If I can pay for it and get the barcoded sheet!)

Hey, Hey, Hey...later this afternoon got an email from NVC and the fee bill attached. Paid the AOS online and printed out the barcoded sheet. Tomorrow morning...the packet will be mailed off! Super excited! :wow:

Well I'm getting kinda anxious to get my wife's interview date my case has been closed since the 25th of June and nothing yet I hope CDJ and nvc can schedule it soon!

I hope everybody else is moving along smoothly and good luck everybody!!!!!

Hey an MEP, haven't seen one in a while on these forums so a little excited! I'll have to check out your timeline! Best of luck getting an interview date!

Congrats to everyone making progress!

I called NVC today to ask how long it would take for them to assign a case number, and they said 10-20 business days.

Is this normal? Despite some of the positive estimates given here, the estimates given by the NVC staff have been much, much longer...

ditto! Congrats to everyone! Every time I call the operators have told me 10-20 business days.. I just keep calling. :) It's been 9 days since my case was received at the NVC. The operators have all been cordial and even some very nice ones too.

I got the fee bill today...later this afternoon then paid the fee and printed the bar coded cover page. Sending the packet out first thing in the morning. IT'S HAPPENING! I'M SO READY for my husband to come home!

So on the employment letter since I am the HR Manager at my company think I can just write my own lol.... now for serious question... I saw that it said to have copies of paystubs from previous years is you have you W2 for those years do you still need the paystubs and if you do how many do you need for each previous year.

For pay stubs, if yours show a YTD (year-to-date) amount on them, then you only need the most recent one. If they don't have the YTD amount, then you really only need to include a few, like 3-6. No need to include the entire 2012 year worth of pay stubs.

I got the fee bill today...later this afternoon then paid the fee and printed the bar coded cover page. Sending the packet out first thing in the morning. IT'S HAPPENING! I'M SO READY for my husband to come home!

Has your AOS invoice shown as PAID yet on the payment portal? I don't suggest sending the AOS package until then. If it gets to NVC before it's appearing as PAID in their system, it may cause delays.

Now I've started calling NVC again daily, cause I'm neurotic I guess....hoping to hear that our case is complete, though I know it's probably too early yet. I'm hoping for sooner rather than later, though :D
