Got our NOA2 in March, and started our NVC journey in May. Finally done

My case was completed last May31, but was put on hold until my daughter's case was completed on June7. On June 15, we received our appointment letters through email. Our interview was scheduled for July 11.

So, a little over a month from daughter's case complete to interview date.

i called this morning and was told that it takes 4-6 weeks to generate a bill. im like #######?

that's just funny.

however, call daily, ask for AOS Fee Bill to be sent to you via email.

Keep asking for that, once a day, till it happens.

I'm prepared for good news but let's check.

I called yesterday and the OP told me my AOS was reviewed already and they are now just waiting for my Civil Documents.

Good sign =) when I asked if it was accepted she said it will only be accepted at the interview day, but anyway,

If it was reviewed it means it was "accepted", right? :DDD

Another doubt, My IV was already delivered (yesterday), so now when it's accepted I will have the case complete? or takes a

little longer yet?

If they said they reviewed your AOS and are now waiting on your IV package, then that means your AOS was accepted

And yes, once your IV package is reviewed and accepted, then your case is complete.

I know that I should take anything an NVC operator says with a grain of salt, however....

I just got off the phone with them, asking if they had scheduled an interview for my husband yet. The woman told me that no, it hasn't been scheduled and they usually schedule interviews during the current month for the cases which were completed the previous month. Since my case was completed in July, the interview would most likely not be scheduled until August, which would mean a September/October interview date.

I'd take that with a grain of salt. It might become true, but that's not how it works. I had my case complete at the beginning of March, and had my interview date assigned at the end of March. Proves their "story" wrong

If they said they reviewed your AOS and are now waiting on your IV package, then that means your AOS was accepted

And yes, once your IV package is reviewed and accepted, then your case is complete.

Just follow the instructions on the wiki, linked in the first post. By emailing it, there is NO printing, NO signing, NO scanning, NO attaching. Just one simple email.

Thanks Julie! Did you get an email from them with the fee bill? I believe I read somewhere it is an attachment you print off. Just trying to be sure of what I am looking for here.

Nope. Just kept checking the payment page every day until if was finally available for me to pay. Now I keep checking it every day so I can pay my IV fee. Hopefully not much longer.

that's okay maybe your embassy is so busy interviewing people. Good luck to us, im going home 1wk after my wife interview, need to file vacation now and buy my ticket

Woot! Congratulations! What wonderful news

On our visa front, still no joy calling NVC. Today's operator says they have no record of any of our paperwork. I get a different answer every time I call--what a bizarre system it is. Hopefully better news tomorrow. C'mon, NVC, I am hoping for a September interview, make it so!
