If you want, just sign in as the 'principal applicant' (aka beneficiary), and fill out the form and sign it for him. As it's electronic, you're not really "signing" it per se. You put your case number as the signature and the date.

Make sure you print out the review pages for your records! As well as the confirmation page at the end after it's submitted.

Thanks Saylin! I will definitely try to keep track! I know that you need to keep the confirmation sheet for the interview too.

Good news, the IRS finally let me order my transcripts online so it looks like they finally processed my returns! Sweeet!

NVC payment portal allows to make payment only thru Checking and Savings Bank Account. AOS bill generated in 1 day after my case number was created and IV bill was generated when they accepted my DS-3032 form. I could have waited for both to be generated and make payments at the same time, but I did not want to waste time on that.

I have not tried to use money order / cashier's check option.

Here's detailed instructions on alternative payment method: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3905.html

This link has different mailing address to send your AOS check.

NVC will send AOS invoice email with pdf file attached to it with email subject as "<NVC Case Number> (PAOSF I-130 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200)" It has alternative payment instruction as well. Make sure you attach this pdf invoice in your AOS package, instead of barcoded sheet that gets generated thru payment portal after making online payment.

Great instruction! Thank you!

1. nvcelectronic@state.gov. use the ds-3032 downloaded at

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing#Forms_Requiring_Signatures

do not use the template that you reference, at all. must have a signed, scanned, pdf file with the OPT IN email, matching what's in:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing#How_to_OPT_IN

2. you will receive email notification back from NVC about the new GZO #.

3. GUZ IV P3 Supplemental form - available for download at :

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing#Digital_scans_of_supplemental_stuff

Hi all, I am waiting for my NVC# and in the mean time preparing AOS and DS-230 packages. Got a few confusions, hope if anyone can give some advices, thanks!!

1. Since my case is at Guangzhou I read that I should send the OPTIN email after AOS invoiced, and in that email I should attach the DS-3032. My question is this email should be sent to NVCElectronic@state.gov or NVCINQUIRY@state.gov?

And the template should follow this? (with Subject change to OPTIN GUZ...)

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

2. Once OPTIN is done, how should I find out if my GUZ# has been updated to GZO#? I will receive email from NVC?

3. In DS-230 package I see sometimes people mention "supplemental sheet". What is this? I didn't find much information about this sheet. Is it the pdf from this site?? (choose GZO)

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3830.html

Thanks everyone!!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
