Got my IIN and case number and when i tried to go online to make payments, i got the following message:

VSF is a courier in India. This is country-specific.

It's "VFS"

They charge courier fees to send passport/visa back to the beneficiary after visa is approved by US Consulate. VFS office in India charges this fee even if beneficiary is going to pickup their passport/visa from VFS office.

Just called NVC, and still got a "not received/reviewed yet" for our DS 230 package received 7 days ago, on June 26th. Will try tonight, hope they arent taking a lazier break day because of the holiday tomorrow.

Can I email the DS230 or do I have to print and mail to them? Do they accept scanned signature?

Only those eligible for EP can email packages. The UK is NOT of those eligible countries. You can only snail mail packages. And it has to be the ORIGINAL signature. This means the beneficiary needs to print out the DS-230, sign it, and mail it.

Did you see my post about my "account transcripts, NOT my tax transcripts!" Holy Moses...scared me to death to think I could have already sent these off! I've now ordered the right thing so we may be sending in our paperwork at the same time for sure. I've got the wait on the right transcripts!

You can complete the DS-230 for your spouse, print it out, scan it into a pdf document and email to your spouse. Your honey prints it out on their side, signs page 2 only in BLUE INK then MAIL BACK TO YOU with any additional supporting documentation needed (long form birth certificate, police certificate, passport bio pages and additional passport photo's on 2 x 2 glossy white background).

FedEx has worked well for us, a little costly, but I've been able to track the package all the way and they get to me quickly.

I just filed my 2009. LOL. But have my 2008. 2010 Transcripts. @011 should be here this week. I have the "account transcripts and 1040" for 2009. But think I will just hold off and hold on to past forms until interview. Goodness. my head.

A: If you have been receiving documentation from the National Visa Center, then most likely you have already paid the visa fee. If not, the current IV fee is U.S. $230 per applicant regardless of age.

All Diversity Visa lottery applicants must pay the $330 fee per applicant to the U.S. Consulate General Lagos on the day of the interview.

All K-1 and K-3 visas must pay the $240 immigrant (visitor) visa application fee. The K-1 and K-3 fee may be paid at the U.S. Consulate General Lagos on the day of your interview.

Fees at the U.S. Consulate can be paid in dollars or in equivalent Naira at the current U.S. Consulate exchange rate.

So that only leaves one question for our Consulate...is there a Secuirty Charge of $45 still pending before interview (you know the breakdown before was $355 for the Visa fee and $45 for the Security fee.) Question #643.... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

You have to take a sworn affidavit (which may be what you are referring to as the birth attesstation) to the LAGOS MAINLAND LOCAL GOVERNMENT, HEAALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT. The Registrar there has to stamp it with an officail seal and sign the document. I am not sure of how much this costs. Hope this information helps.
