i filed i-130 for my wife last oct. 2011while she was pregnant, so i didnt put my sons name because he was born dec. 2011, question is, is my child able to come to usa with my wife at the same time? or do i have to file another i-130 for him.? i include him when i sent affidavit of support. and ds230,, thanks vj'ers godbless us all

I have seen instructtions when "special circumstances", change your process. I think there are instructions at the bottom of the MNL Embassy info to what to do. I'll look for it and get back asap. I believe one instance is the birth of a child.....BRB

You need to file a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) for your son in order form him to accompany your wife.

I would recommend doing it ASAP.. You dont need to be there, but you will have to send some stuff in, like original documents to prove physical presence and stuff like that. I know for the passport there is an extra consent form you have to fill out and notarize. I dont know about the CRBA. Its really easy to do. Takes 3-4 weeks from time of interview to receive the passport & CRBA.
