Dumb question.. Adjudicated?

I rec'd my NOA1 so using the timeline, I get this: "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between November 17, 2012 and November 20, 2012*. "

Does that mean I will receive the decision from the USCIS around that time or is that the approx. time the embassy in Manilla will be making their decision. I should know this, but i feel a little right now

That's just the VJ estimate of when you should get your NOA2 (approval of your I-129F petition by USCIS).

Then there's further processing at the embassy after that.

Adjudicated is when they look over your petition and make a decision to approve, deny or send an RFE.

The date on your timeline is an estimation of when your petition might be approved. It has nothing to do with Manila other than after the petition is approved, your file will be sent to the NVC and then rerouted to the Manila consulate from there. Manila cannot make any decision until you have an approved petition that allows the beneficiary to apply for a K-1 visa and have an interview there.

And that date will move and move and give you hope and drive you crazy. I just got my N\OA2 and my date was like June 9th or so. But here I am at 3 months 1 week and approved. I am thrilled. Good luck
