I would guess most of your businessman/owners including CEO's vote Republican.

That's true, I should have said RWNJ...the one's who subscribe to he approved list of policies, subject by subject with no deviations allowed

There are plenty on VJ who says "I don't care, let em die" or "Who cares what foreigners think" etc etc

People who really would deprive their family of a parent if anyone came for their gun

I have some really nice guns but I am not a nut job and so I would be regretful if they came for my guns, but I wouldn't raise a finger to stop them, because it would constitutional at that time

a RWNJ would be prepared to kill people in that circumstance. There are quite a few million who would do that

They are the RWNJ's

Guns mean a lot to some Americans including myself. If the government would leave legal gun owners alone and not try to mess with us by trying to pass more and more restrictions it wouldn't be a problem. It's a mentality of; "Don't mess with us, and we won't mess with you." Nothing wrong with that imo.

America is not Europe nor does it want to be Europe. If people want Europe then they should move to Europe instead of trying to change the status quo in the US. For those of us who were born and raised here and are older including myself it makes us sick to our stomachs to see what is happening to this once great country. I'm not putting all the blame on the LWN...it goes both ways.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I haven't noticed any Federal restrictions on guns during Obama's reign - have you ?

It's all fear and invented stories

I have bought an AR15 with 3x30 round mags plus a CZ Compact 9mm, a Ruger LCR, a CZ 223 target rifle, a CZ 22LR target rifle, 3 Lee Enfield 303's, a Glock 26, a Ruger target pistol. Maybe some I cant remember. Perhaps this idea of liberal Europeans coming here and want to take our guns is.... wrong ?

Immigrants want to bring the best and leave the bad behind

Having arrived with the best, they want to share it with their new countrymen. It wouldn't be very patriotic to know a better way and to keep quiet.

This will only strike a chord with people who admit that not everything good came from America

DNA testing, penicillin etc were actually foreign inventions

Freed slaves, votes for women were also foreign laws which were imported

Why not import the best of Europe while rejecting Irish rag arms dancing

Rejecting the best and the worst isn't smart

Actually it would not be constitutional unless an Amendment was made to the constitution outlawing private ownership of guns. If they came for your guns it would be very un constitutional and yes, the fight would be on.

A law would be passed and held constitutional or an amendment made

A true RWNJ would not accept that - they actually talk the constitution all day long until it legally changes - then they shoot abortion doctors or say they will kill police officers to keep their guns NO MATTER WHAT THE LAW SAYS

The RWNJ's are the most un-american people in the land as they only agree with the law and the constitution while it suits their aims

Anyway, look at Illinois gun laws - almost as tight as the UK - as tight as a crab's bottom and that's water-tight

This is what I am talking about >>

No one will amend the bill of rights (not saying it cannot be done).

That photo makes me cringe seeing how he is wearing cardinal gear.

I am very pro -constitution and the only way the constitution can be changed is by amendment or constitutional convention,. You do know that right ? P.S. Anybody that would shoot an abortion doctor is a criminal and should be put to death.

How about we just...you know... give them life in prison?

The English Bill of Right 1689 is still in force. It looks much like the American bill of rights (can we sue for copyright)

It includes the right to bear arms, no searches, no billeting soldiers, bail etc etc

It has been so eroded by regulations that it is very hard to own and keep a gun. It can be done but it is expensive

A few miles way from me this evening is Illinois

Illinois gun regulations are much like the UK and get tighter and tighter

The UK experience proves that firearms can be restricted down to just a few while the bill of rights still exists

I got my first English firearms certificate in 1964. It was for a single shot 22LR target rifle only to be used at an indoor range. It took 6 months and it wasn't easy. Me, and my parents and my neighbors were interviewed and my mental stability was assessed as first class - I fooled em

Its much, much harder now

And that's the reason many here do not want tighter gun restrictions. Who wants to kiss ####### just to be able to own a gun legally? I don't think it makes someone a RWN to fight against tighter gun restrictions.

No it doesn't - agreed - but if they say they will disobey the law if it changes - then they are a RWNJ

I'm a RWN then if that's the case. The line has to be drawn somewhere and when they want to take my gun rights away that's when they crossed the line of no return. This country could do for a good shaking up anyways. It's about time for another good 'ol fashioned revolution to put things back to right again.

It's just as well you weren't here for Katrina. Martial law trumps the constitution. :(

So if your state passes a law outlawing dissent of the Government and Peaceful assembly are you going to follow it also. How about if the Government banned Catholicism or Buddhism would you support that and say, well it's a law now I have to follow it ?

I am against any activity that is unconstitutional and that includes infringing on the rights of any religious group, I am also a very strong advocate of separation of church and state, including prayer in school. I am pro -first amendment even if I do not like what is being said.. Our forefathers knew what they were doing when they banned state religion, gave us free speech and guns. They gave us protection from over zealous police forces and searches and all kind of liberties that a bad government will infringe on.

If loving Liberty and supporting our constitution makes me a RWNJ then so be. we have a constitution to guarantee our freedoms. If you want to change it their is a process, and it is not by Judicial review.

You will be surprised to find out this RWNJ supports the second amendment as well as the whole bill of rights. A Woman's right to choose, A gay persons right to enter into a civil Union, does not government lead prayer in school. I also support your right to sit on your lazy butt and starve if you are to sorry to work. My right to defend my property with deadly force, and my right to keep what I earn.
